Night Stalking
Tonight I had the chance to relive my childhood or at least a few of my teenage years. I had almost forgotten how fun it can be to dress all in black and sneak out in the middle of the night.(Okay Mark knew where I was going and I took the cell phone in case of an emergency.) There is something about the thrill of not getting caught or even getting caught and talking your way out of trouble.Ü It made me miss Melissa and all the laughing me did as we prepared. We would stay up way late afterwards talking and laughing about our escapade. Tonight I played the part of Sister Albee. I drove and kept things from going to far and I even talked to the cop when he stopped us. I never realized it, but she had the best job. She got to pass on what she knew and tonight it was my turn to share my expertise. It was a job well done, even if I do say so myself.
