Hogwarts Part 1

This past Saturday we held Austin's 10th birthday party at our house. She told me over a year ago that she wanted a Harry Potter themed party and with an entire year to plan we had a great concept developed. It all started with the invitations.

We printed, tea dyed, and rolled them up like little scrolls. We then delivered them to the houses of all the invites. This was especially fun, because we had to be sneaky and not get caught. After all there can be no humans present when a child receives their invite from an owl. The cutest part ...?

Opening the door the next day and finding this owl and reply from one of the girls. Too cute!

Mariah and Natalie Come to Visit

We always love visits, but now that Mariah has Natalie we love her visits even more.

Pancakes with Daddy

We have a tradition in our family of having breakfast every Sunday after church. We have everything from crepes to Breakfast Tacos, but lately Mark has been switching things up a little. While Caitlyn, Colin, Austin and I are at Choir pratice he races home with Reagan and Hallie to surprise us with his talents. Today it was pancakes. I guess this is proof that everything is better with Daddy.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We are always looking for ways to be silly around here and St. Patrick's Day is no different. We wore green, decorated green and of course ate green.

We know that vegetables are an important part of every meal and while they are green we mixed it up this year. Dinner of Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshakes, green eggs and ham. Broccoli for dessert.

The best part of the whole day ... Leprechauns stopped by this morning and left a little treat on the front door step (Thanks to our friends).

Mark's XX Birthday

It's not polite to talk about numbers when we are discussing someones age.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

 Besides it's all about how old you feel anyway and Mark ... well he's still looking and feeling fine.
