Austinism

Austin, "I'm popular, because I'm the Homemade Girl."

Mom, "What is the Homemade Girl?"

Austin,"I'm the only one of my friends who has homemade stuff in her lunch. I even have homemade rice crispy treats."

I wish I would have known it was that easy when I was in the 3rd grade.

See, I remember being picked on for being the "homemade" girl... as in homemade bread, homemeade cookies, homemeade clothes... wish I had been a kid in this day and age when you can be popular for that and not teased! Lucky girl!

Yeah, I had the homemade knitted clothes and I do NOT remember it being cool. But when I send in homemade (or shopmade, we get to cheat owning a bakery!) goodies on "bring a plate" days Justice LOVES me. I was always homicidally mad at my mom for that. (We do the homemade rice crispy treats in giant shaped cake pans for birthdays - cool, very cool.)

And can you believe they are already in Year 3? Justice seems SO BIG lately!

That's funny Emily. I was made fun of for homemade stuff too.
