What Do We Do When Halloween Lands On A Sunday?

"We still celebrate... in our way." (Reagan)
































"We dress up and attend the annual Goblin Glow at the Lakeway park." (Caitlyn)















































































"I like the CANDY!!!" (Hallie)

















"The balloons made me want to fly or catch on fire or both." (Mark)




"The balloons were hot." (Colin)
Okay fine mom.. "The balloons were
more beautiful than moonlight on swan feathers at midnight."










"We take our friends, to join the fun" (Austin)







"We sway with the band. Aren't they cute?" (Tara)








We attended the Ward trunk or treat...


"Caitlyn and Austin won for most visited trunk...because of ME!"(Colin)
"We won a cookie jar in a bag. It was awesome" (Austin)




We woke up early to walk the dog at the Annual Dog Walk and Parade






"I think 8:30 is too early for me to get up and walk the dog." (Caitlyn)





"Daisy was a princess." (Hallie)













"I met a dog named Lilly." (Reagan)















Come Sunday...

Mom makes a special pumpkin squash soup and rolls with Pecan Pumpkin Butter

Mark taught us about Halloween's beginning. Did you know it is the oldest Holiday?


We finished our book about a scary bunny named "Bunnicula." "Way funny!" (Reagan) "Can I take the book to bed?"(Austin)



We have Pumpkin Bars for dessert.




We make Mr. Potato Head Pumpkins.























We decorate the upstairs playroom.


















We read and tell some stories about our ancestors.














We have a great time with our spider toss game.







We eat candy from around the world.


We gorge ourselves on candy and




We watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown."

Awesome, I knew you would have Halloween post! Otherwise I would WORRY... YOu should make pumpkin cheesecake! and remember the pumpkin.... LOVE you!
