The Christiansen's are making the plunge! We are buying a new (well new to us) home here in Lakeway. The question now is as offical residents of the city of Lakeway what do we call ourselves? People from Austin and Boston are "Austinians" and "Bostonians". Are we "Lakewinians"? "Lakers"? "Lakewayans"? "Lakewish"? "Lakewench"? "Lakewiards"? "Lakewuesse"? "Lakenites?"
Maybe we'll have to ask our neighbors. But in asking, will that make us "Lake weeds"?

I vote for Lakenites! haha. And I would still say I was from Austin. Don't want people to think you think you're better than them being from Lakeway! :P

How far is Lakeway from Austin?
I wish that was the view from our front door, but no we don't have a lake view. From our house we can see trees, but the lake it just a few blocks away.
